Where do we start?
Give Coté Catering a call or shoot an email! We are readily available, but before you reach out to us, you may want to consider a few questions we will ask almost immediately:
- What type of event are you hosting? Is this a wedding, a holiday party, a corporate party, etc? Each different event comes with specific approaches.
- What type of food service would you like? Family style dinner, buffet style, passed hors d’oeuvres, etc.
- Would you like assistance with decoration, lighting, etc? We have a highly skilled team ready for any and all creative decor solutions!
- What is your budget for your event? We will work with you to provide you a quote that meets your budget!
Who provides the alcohol?
Coté Catering has a wonderful team of TABC-certified bartenders and mixologists that are ready to wow your guests with fabulous locally themed cocktails! We have an array of suggestions for local beer and we love patterning with East End Wines to provide pallet perfect wine pairings. You would need to order the alcohol yourself and have it delivered to the venue, we will take it from there!
Will you arrange my rental needs?
We are very familiar with rentals, everything from tables, chairs, to portable restrooms and vintage rentals! We are happy to arrange your rentals based on your needs.
Final guest count?
All of our food is sourced locally which means we need to know your final guest count within 14 days of your your event. That said, we always plan to accommodate a bit extra, just in case.
Why the event coordinating fee?
When you receive your proposal from Coté Catering, you will notice a 17% event coordinating fee near the Grand Total. This fee represents the event coordinators time for consultations, preparation of your proposal, revisions, etc., and certain transportation costs associated with your event. For non-profits, off-season events, and new clients, we are prepared to negotiate that fee. Ultimately we want to take care of you in the best manner we can!
How and when do I complete my payment?
We will ask for a 50% deposit on the estimated subtotal cost of your event in order to secure the date. We will send you a proposal and contract outlining all the details. We prefer checks or credit cards (we do charge a 3% credit card processing fee).
